Client Service Representative (CSR)

Veterinary Client Service Representatives (CSR) are key members of our team. They are responsible for promoting a friendly and professional environment with an emphasis on compassion, communication, integrity, and service. The Customer Service Representatives at SVRC/The Pet Emergency Room perform one of the most important and critical aspect of our service. They are the face of the practice. They are the initial point of triage for incoming cases, they interact daily with our clients, patients, staff and referring primary care veterinarians to name a few. This position requires a detailed, caring and articulate person, able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.

Candidates must have excellent communication for client interaction in person and on the phone, attention to detail, and proficient computing for scheduling appointments, processing transactions and managing medical records. They have the ability to prioritize multiple phone lines effectively.

This position requires practical knowledge of hospital procedures, policies and services; client and patient treatment protocols; word processing; and the standard procedures, records and terminology used in the veterinary hospital.
